What is Pixel or Pooxel??

Pixel or Pooxel is a term used in 3D visualization to describe the smallest unit of an image. It’s basically a “picture element” – the smallest building block of an image. All digital images are made up of pixels, and when you zoom in on an image, you’ll eventually see these individual pixels that make up the whole.

In 3D visualization, pixel or pooxel has a slightly different meaning. Here, it refers to the smallest unit of a 3D model. Just like 2D images are made up of pixels, 3D models are made up of small 3D cubes, which we call “voxels”. And just like you can zoom in on a 2D image and see the individual pixels that make it up, you can also zoom in on a 3D model and see the individual voxels.
