What is DCC?

DCC, or Digital Content Creation, is the process of creating digital content. This can include anything from 2D images and 3D models to animations and video games. In the case of 3D visualization, DCC is used to create realistic images or animations of objects that don’t exist in the real world.

This process often begins with a 3D modeler who creates a basic model of the object using a software program. Once the model is complete, it is then passed on to a DCC artist who adds details like textures, lighting, and shadows. Finally, the image or animation is rendered and exported for use in whatever final project it will be included in.
